Benchmarking Program Faculty of Economics and Business Warmadewa University At National Economics University, Hanoi
Hanoi (Dewannews.com) The delegation of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Warmadewa University, Indonesia which was led by Dr. I Dewa Ayu Kristiantari, SE.M.Si,Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Community Services, Faculty of the Economics and Business to visit, exchange experiences and handovering the signed document of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Warmadewa University (UNWAR) and the National Economics University (NEU) Hanoi, Philippines as well as signing the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Faculty of the Economics and Business, WarmadewaUniversity and the Faculty of Environment, Climate Change and Urban Studies, NEU, Vietnam, Monday (June 17, 2024).
Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Warmadewa University, there were also: Dr. I Ketut Darma, SE., M.Si, the Head of Economic Development Program; Dr.Putu Ayu Sita Laksmi, B.Bus., M.Sc, the Head of Management Program, Dr. A.A. Gede Krisna Murti, SE., M.Si, the Head of Accounting Program, Dr. I Wayan Kartana, SE., M.Sc, the Head of Regular-B Program as well as the Head of Master of Accounting Program, Faculty of Postgraduate, Dr. I Made Suniastha Amerta, SS., M.Par,, and some lecturers as the representatives of the EconomicsDevelopment program, Accounting program, and Management program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Warmadewa University.
Welcoming the delegation, from the National Economics University there were: Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu, the Vice President of the National Economics University, Prof. Dr. To Trung Thanh, the Head of Scientific Management Department, Prof. Dr. Do Thi Hai Ha, Principal of the School of Economics and Public Management, Prof. Dr.Dinh Duc Truong, Head of the Faculty of Environment, Climate Change and Urban Studies, connection point and organizer of the welcome program, together with representatives of leaders of Departments, Faculty, Institutes, Centers and socio-political organizations throughout the university, and lecturers of the Faculty of Environment, Climate Change, and Urban Studies, of NEU, Hanoi Vietnam.
On behalf of the National Economics University, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu expressed his joy when welcoming the delegation from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Warmadewa University, Indonesia to visit, exchange experiences as well as signing a cooperation agreement with the University and Faculties from both universities.
The Vice President of NEU, Associate Professor, Dr.Nguyen Thanh Hieu affirmed: “With a history of nearly 70 years of construction, growth and development, National Economics University always maintains its position, strength as well as quality in training and research. in economics, management and business administration in Vietnam”.Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu also emphasized that the National Economics University is always ready to share experiences with universities to work together. creating practical values for learners and the community, and believe that today’s signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement marks an important turning point in the cooperative relationship between the two schools.
At that occasion Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu also expressed his appreciation for the efforts and important contributions of the Faculty of Environment, Climate Change and Urbanism in promoting the cooperative relationship between the two Universities, Faculty/Institutes of the two schools together, and at the same time expect that through this event, the two schools will establish more extensive cooperative relationships, from exchanging lecturers and students, to coordinating scientific research, organizingthe international seminars and conferences, and the international community service as well.
On behalf of the Delegation of Warmadewa University, Dr. I Dewa Ayu Kristiantari, SE., M.Si thanked the National Economics University and the Faculty of Environment, Climate Change and Urban Studies for the warm and friendly welcome to the Unwar delegation. She said that she and the leaders of Warmadewa University were very impressed with the development history and successes of the National Economics University in teaching, research, and international cooperation. Therefore, Dr. I Dewa Ayu Kristiantari and the delegation were very pleased to visit, discuss and sign a cooperation agreement (MoA) between the Faculty of Environment, Climate Change & Urban Studies and the Faculty of Economics and Business of Warmadewa University. With this memorable milestone, Dr. I Dewa Ayu Kristiantari does not only hope to strengthen educational cooperation but also open up many new development opportunities in education, joint research, and community service between the two universities.
At the meeting, there was also the MoA signing ceremony between the Faculty of Environment, Climate Change & Urban Studies – National Economics University and the Faculty of Economics & Business of WarmadewaUniversity took place in a solemn atmosphere. and excitement, marking the beginning of a new phase of cooperation between the two units. Through this MoA, the two sides commit to jointly develop academic and research programs, focusing on urgent issues such as climate change, sustainable urban management and economic development.
This event not only demonstrates the determination of both faculties to promote education and research, but also opens up many opportunities for deeper cooperation in the future. Prof. Dr. Dinh Duc Truong – Head of the Faculty of Environment, Climate Change & Urban Studies also affirmed that this MoAsigning ceremony is the foundation for an important milestone, affirming the common vision and strong connection between the two countries. side, towards the goal of sustainable and comprehensive development.
During the discussion session on the education system and curriculum, delegates from both sides enthusiastically exchanged information about the structure and training content of the two Schools in general and the research focuses of the Faculty of Economics and Business. Business, Warmadewa University and Faculty of Environment, Climate Change & Urban Studies, National Economics University in particular. Delegates shared experiences and advanced teaching programs to improve the quality of education and meet the increasing needs of students. In particular, Dr. Pham Sy Long – Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department shared experiences in developing joint training and lecturer-student exchange programs. Associate Professor, PhD. Le Thu Hoa, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Environment, Climate Change & Urban Studies, shared about current research projects as well as the potential for cooperation between the two faculties and the two universities. Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Cong Thanh emphasized the importance of connection and coordination in scientific research to solve urgent environmental and economic problems. These shares not only open up new opportunities for cooperation but also promote the development of common projects, towards sustainable goals and comprehensive development of both schools.
In the sharing of research activities of the two Faculties, Dr. Agung Parameswara – Faculty of Economics and Business, Warmadewa University had an article sharing about the activities and research results of the Center for International Development and the Center for Climate Change. The sharing article suggested many opportunities for cooperation based on the professional strengths of the two units, bringing many new things and unique perspectives to the attending delegates. On the part of the Faculty of Environment, Climate Change & Urban Studies – National Economics University, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Nam shared an article about cooperative projects between the Faculty and international universities and CCG organizations. The sharing article not only introduces details about the goals and progress of the projects, but also emphasizes the importance of international cooperation in promoting research and development of sustainable economic solutions. . Sharing from both sides created a rich academic atmosphere and promoted the exchange of creative ideas among delegates.
In the afternoon, the Delegation of WarmadewaUniversity gave a lecture to share and introduce the University to students of the 65th class of Economics and Environmental Management. Next, the Delegation participated in the NEU Tour activity. to visit the system of facilities, campus, and library of the National Economics University. This event marks an important turning point in promoting international cooperation and improving the quality of education of both schools and affiliated units. (jk/r)
